ABOUT US

Networking is a huge part of the business and creating lasting relationships with clients, vendors and trades is key to it's success as house builders. They are able to offer exceptional construction services in Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge and Guelph. Commercial and residential renovations are a large part of how they created their network.

Ross & Liana have been investing in real estate for the past 20 years. Juggling family life and various businesses has increased their capacity to keep moving forward and build a legacy for generations to come.

They are constantly striving to increase their knowledge of the industry in cities across North America.

Then & Now started in 2014 to accommodate a growing need for renovations within an established customer base since 2002 with Rosco Landscaping. 

We collaborated with contractors on decks/fences and small renovation projects until 2014 when we established Then & Now. We completed 4 flip properties and held 2 of them as long or short term rentals to start after completing 2 years of extensive training on real estate investing also acquiring several other long term rental properties until renovations became too busy and we sold most of them. 

Renovations amped up during the pandemic and we built a custom home and renovated 2 entire homes over a 2 year period mixing in various smaller projects like bathrooms/kitchens/basements/wine cellars/trim/doors/windows etc. 

Over the last 2 years we have completely renovated a home for a client inside and out completing 2 bathrooms, master bedroom closets, kitchen including blowing walls out and expanding, new flooring throughout house, new deck, landscaping and shed and are now working on built in cabinetry and fireplace unit. 

There is nothing we can’t do. We will replace a staircase, windows, flooring, fireplaces including millwork, mantels and brick or stone work. We’ve completed second floor additions, garage additions, built sheds, pool houses, custom homes. 

You name it, we can do it!

We have a vast network of trades in every category to assist where we lack the licence or knowledge. 

We love when our workload increases so we can collaborate with colleagues on projects. 

In 2021 we obtained our Tarion Licensing status with the Home regulatory Construction Association after completing the 7 competency courses through our sister company Zemlir Holdings. We hold a vendor/builder licence with the HCRA. 

Then & Now excels walking into a space, learning about the people who live there and then creating a space to accommodate the needs. 

We strive to create lasting relationships with our clients. 

Hourly rates are $90.00 for skilled craftsmen, $85.00 for all other labourers and trade pricing is available on request project specific ie) plumbing, HVAC, electrical etc. 

Each project is specific and pricing is provided after we get to know the space to be renovated and the needs of those living in the home.
